June 15th "Bards for St. Brigid's" Benefit an Enormous Success

Huge thanks to all of you who made our "Bards for St. Brigid's" Benefit at Connolly's 45 such a great success. Your response was overwhelming -there were over 500 in attendance at Connolly's 45 on June 15, 2006, and we raised over $20,000. Thank you all for stepping up and spreading the word about our fight to save St. Brigid's. It was a wonderful night, with readings from outstanding writers who generously donated their time and energy, passionate words from our friends in the community, and some rousing singing. Once again, thank you for giving us a real boost to continue our fight to Save St. Brigid's.
